Santa Claus is coming to town!
Event Description:
Come out to join us and see the man is the red suit! What a way to officially kick off the holiday season! If you are interested in being part of the parade, click on the registration button and sign up today!
Parade Route
The parade will start at Thales Academy, will move up Storage Drive to Main St., turn left onto Main Street then right onto E. Young St. and ending at Rolesville Baptist Church.

PARADE LINE UP AND PARTICIPANT DROP OFF
Parade lineup begins at 12:30 at Thales Academy (behind the Police Station). If you are dropping off a participant, YOU MAY ONLY ENTER THE THALES LOT VIA GRAND ROCK WAY UNLESS YOU ARE ON FOOT. The only vehicles that will be allowed to park in the Thales lot are those in the parade. If you are dropping off participants, move down to the Dropping Off Participants section.
PARKING
The only vehicles that will be allowed in Thales parking lot are those that are part of the parade. THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL PARKING IN THIS LOT! Please take into consideration you need to enter the Thales lot as a group (more below) and that you will need to make transportation arrangements once the parade is over back to your cars.
ASSEMBLING AS A GROUP
You are encouraged meet as a group offsite and come to the Thales parking lot as a group. You may want to consider alternate meeting places such as the lots in the Southtown Circle Plaza, across the street in the Food Lion plaza, etc. If members of your party do not enter the lot with you and are expected to arrive later move down to the Dropping Off Participants section.
DROPPING OFF PARTICIPANTS
If after entering the Thales lot as a group, you are still expecting participants; your group will need to have a representative at the drop off location to receive participants as they are dropped off. Cars will enter the Thales lot via Grand Rock Way and left onto Granite Falls Place. Drop-off traffic will move one way through the parking lot. You will be directed to drop off your participants on the corner as you enter the parking lot. After dropping off you will be directed around the school and out of the parking lot by the police station. With the number of participants we are expecting we will not have staff or volunteers available to walk individuals to their groups and we cannot hold up the line waiting for your representative.
